Privacy & your weekly wine email

When you join the weekly wine list, we save your email address, signup time and the signup page or campaign that brought you here. This is an early-access list: weekly editions are not being sent to subscribers yet.

Approximate location

We use Cloudflare’s estimate from your internet connection to save your country, region, city, time zone, coarse coordinates (rounded to one decimal place), and the first three characters of a Canadian postal code when available. This can be inaccurate, especially with mobile networks or VPNs. We also save your selected LCBO store if you have chosen one.

Joining the list does not request your device’s precise location. We do not save your raw IP address with your subscription. A short-lived hashed network identifier helps limit automated signups.

Your choices

Your signup is consent to receive WineRipe’s weekly recommendations when the email launches. Sale alerts remain a separate choice. Sign in with your email to leave the weekly list at any time. Future editions will include an unsubscribe link.

We use site analytics to understand which guides and signup placements help visitors. We do not include your email address in the custom signup events. Cloudflare provides hosting, subscription storage and email delivery.
